Glad this one died out. I was nervous that we're about to blow our transfer record on someone like this.

According to sky sports, he has told Palace he wants out. They've lost some leverage now surely. He may have years left on his deal but nobody wants an unhappy player. Lets hope this works out for us.

price needs to come wayy down in that case. LCFC kept Mahrez a year beyond what they verbally agreed to and still got £60m. anybody would tell you that Mahrez offers a lot more than Zaha.

Hes a class player imo, most critics on here can only really point to his 1 season stint at man u years ago and apparent inconsistency as a negative.

I think hes grown a lot since the early days and would be an asset for us. Defo better than anything we currently have.

for the 2nd highest PL transfer fee ever, he needs to show a lot more than a couple of good seasons at Palace.

Aubameyang was £60m and has 53 goals and assists in 1.5 seasons of the 'worst Arsenal team ever' according to many on this forum. that's because he bagged 100+ goals in his last club in 4.5 seasons.

Zaha couldn't get near that number in a million years. it's not him who decides his transfer fee, but we would be absolute mugs to consider bringing him in at even £50m considering our defensive needs.
