Wilfried Zaha

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Zaha for 35-40m is the type of player that a top club would sign as a BACK-UP for their wing-backs or AM's .... giving him a run out over a season in cups and lesser games to see if he makes the grade ... just because he failed in a Utd side that was falling apart doesn't mean he will fail again ... however he is nowhere near a top six EPL starter ....

He should be a back-up for Lemar or indeed Alexis ... not purchased as a starter .....

Spuds only want him as a back-up and so perhaps do Chelsea .... City and L'pool don't need him and Utd probably won't touch him again ....

Only we will offer him a gazzilion a week and first team football, and right now he's just not good enough ... have we sunk so low we are forced to gamble on others cast-offs and miss-fits ????

Walcott warms the bench for most if not all our PL games so far this season but, correct me if i'm wrong, I can't remember him ever coming on and making an impact. At least Zaha's bench would be cooler more often if he came. Besides, you only need to look at the value of City's bench to know that that amount for a non-starter is quickly becoming the norm

I'm warming to the idea of Zaha. He causes havoc among defenders which would help Laca. Also, isn't he a gooner?

We could do a lot worse than giving him a try.

Links emerging today with Wilf

Possibly now or never for him to join a big club

Not entirely convinced whether he fits the step up and definitely not convinced he’s worth the 60m and 80% of our budget to sign him

He is a gooner though

He's a pacey winger who manages ~10 goals and a few assists every season. When it comes to Ramsey replacements, we could do worse.
