Thomas Muller

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Thomas Muller

Postby Cripps » Wed Jul 19, 2017 4:57 pm

Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller is a target for four leading clubs as rumours continue about his future at the Allianz Arena, claims Sport Bild .

Premier League trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, along with Italian champions Juventus, would all be keen to sign Muller, if he is allowed to leave Bayern.

However, coach Carlo Ancelotti has denied speculation that the signing of James Rodriguez means Bayern are ready to sell Muller .

Never fully convinced me

He'd be great in the premier league. How is he only 27? Feels like he's been around forever!

He's a strange player - looks very awkward on the ball, but he's the epitome of a team player who works his socks off and has scored some big goals throughout his career.

Bayern will never sell him.

But if you are wondering how he would work in Arsenal, then I would say very well.

He is not good when you make him a primary striker but when you play him off of a striker, he creates havoc because he links up well, passes well, is one of the best at finding pockets of space that is created by the striker, and can finish. He is a very smart player that is competitive and a bonus for us is that he has a very good chemistry with Ozil on the field.

We can easily play him on our right wing and would be a massive upgrade for us at that spot compared to what we have currently but like I said...

...Bayern will never sell him.

Agreed. Not before he shows big signs of decline, anyway.

Think they'd rather sack Ancelottio than sell Müller.
