Man United will NOT trigger the clause but pay slightly above €40m with better payment terms, in three years.

Zirkzee signs until June 2029 with option for further season.

First signing of INEOS new era.

On the other hand ESR played like 60min and was comfortably the worst player on the pitch i doubt hes gonna be even regular starter for Fulham.
And that miss from Garnacho was so bad that it can't be described.

I couldn't believe what I was watching.
ESR had zero spark and got worse as the game went on.
I wasn't surprised he was subbed off.

As we have sold Smith Rowe, does that mean it's ok to pile on him because it's such an amazing success to have sold him, while anyone criticising Havertz last season was ridiculed? He wasn't great but I think Pereira might also merit a mention. Lol etc
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

I think ESR will be ok if he can stay fit. Good player.
Tonight he was awful.
Think most agreed it was a good deal for us and for him with the £30m move though

I don't think he was awful. I haven't canvassed enough opinions to know what most would agree with.

Agree the deal was good for us and hopefully for him. God bless her, he was my Mum's favourite player. Just hope she's ok watching from above while still cheering on the Gooners!

There are lots of Arsenal fans quite upset he left, but generally the ones I have spoken with think it's good for both.
Understandable being sad to see him go - not only is he a Hale End lad , he was actually the catalyst that helped reignite the club in Dec 2020.
I am rather hoping we sing 'Saka & Emile Smith Rowe' when Fulham visit.

RIP your mum - I am sure she is a Gunner from another realm

Thanks Jay, hope so as to be honest, living without her is killing me. In 1989 (you'll know the date) she ironed for the entire match as she couldn't bear to watch us against Liverpool!

I know it well.
I think we must all remember exactly where they were and what we were doing that night - those of us around at the time of course.
Very happy memories - for many reasons.
Football has a way of freezing memories in moments of great achievement.
It's not just the game that is remembered vividly.
