Marco Asensio

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Marco Asensio

MARCO ASENSIO is ready to accept proposals from either Liverpool, Arsenal or Juventus if he is not promised a starring role at Real Madrid, reports claim.

The talented attacking midfielder is growing quickly at the Bernabeu.

During his first full season as a Madrid player, Asensio shone when called upon and capped an impressive campaign with the final goal in the Champions League final.

On Saturday, he further highlighted his huge potential with a hat-trick for Spain's Under-21s against Macedonia at the European Championship.

However, the former Mallorca man has concerns about his role in the Madrid team going forward.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Asensio wants more action that will guarantee he becomes a key figure at Madrid.

Real Madrid's Marco Asensio is currently away with Spain at the Under-21 European Championship
The 21-year-old wants the opportunity to become one of the world's best and desires a salary that matches his quality too.

Higher wages and a big platform can be obtained at top sides in either the Premier League or Serie A.

And Diario Gol add Asensio will not hesitate to accept other offers if he does not become a focal player, having warned Madrid of Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus' interest.

He does not want another season spent largely on the Bernabeu bench, having been convinced by Florentino Perez last term to not go back on loan to Espanyol.

Even if on loan or if we bought him with a buy-back clause totally worth it.

I loved the potential era. Remember when we bantered other fans about possession stats and average age of the starting eleven. Fun times.

He's signed an extension until 2023 with a €350m release clause:

He'd rather stay at Madrid and be a squad player (at least for another year).
