Sander Berge

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Ramsey belongs on the bench at best so wouldn't worry about him.

Berge-Xhaka doesn't strike me as something that works though - maybe if they nail a good understanding and Berge is decent going forward but no idea yet.

I agree with that ramsey analysis but berge really the answer? Dunno much about him and he sure as hell isnt the next yaya from the clips i seen but besides a stable mf can he push ball at a quicker pace? We need someone like santi but bigger.

berge seems to be a lot like mousa dembele with that hes great at intercepting and breaking up play, not a fantastic passer by any means but still a good one. but the key strengths of them is that they're able to power his way through the midfield with the ball at their feet. we lack that in midfield, a real driving force with the ball at their feet

Just get Kovacic and forget about this guy.

Kovacic would struggle wirh xhaka as the guy cant defend one bit

Oh really? I thought he was quite competent defensively.

I think Kovacic would work well with Xhaka, similarly to how Ramsey and Xhaka have dovetailed well since the formation switch.

Kovacic is more than good enough defensively to play in the middle of a 343 with Xhaka

I hate ramsey with passion.....but kovacic doesnt have anywhere close to his work rate and defensive work. The guy is lightweight who has zero defensive nouse.

The Gunners are also interested in Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge despite missing out on the Norwegian, 22, in January when he moved to Bramall Lane. (VG - in Norwegian)

He's barely done anything there.
