Day and age of needing big DMs is over. Nowadays you need highly mobile energetic guys who can recover possession and immediately switch to play making. Exchange passes, play long passes forward. Don't need this big lump. If we did you could just play Bielik at DM.

His acceleration is quite spectacular for a 14-stone young man who stands 6'5'' tall. His imposing build combined with good basic technical ability and that little burst allows him to glide past players and carry the ball up the field effortlessly. Though more defensive-minded, he's similar to Yaya Toure on that regard. Genk did a fine bit of scouting with Ndidi and did it again with Berge as his successor.

Never seen someone this big who can dribble. Get him home. Would be a very good Xhaka backup

So he's supposed to be a DM but this video only shows him doing defensive work once. If I was only going by this video, I wouldn't want to sign him.

Besides that, he seems to know how to go past players and pick out a pass but he needs to work on his shooting

18m gamble sure why not

As long as it's a gamble on top of a striker, winger and CM.

He's a teenager who plays for Genk ffs. He should not be valued at more than 5 mil tops. The valuations have become crazy all of a sudden. 18 mil should get you a full fledged international with close to a 100 league caps.
