Anymore would be a bonus.

The spine of our team is not good enough to win the league. We have an ailing Cech in goal. And our defence?

Title?

As of right now, not even good enough for top 4.

We still dont have a proper midfield, the problem that has buried us for last two seasons.

Other teams are not static. They are all looking to improve.

Both Manchester teams have improved their team in the market and continuing to do so.

Liverpool has added Salah which will make their attack even more potent and are looking to add Naby and Virgil. Even without any additions, Klopp's team is going to be better next season after a full year with him but they are making additions on top of that.

Chelsea and Spurs should be better than us simply because of their defence and better tactical managers.

In short, Chelsea, Spurs, and Liverpool have better chemistry and tactical managers than we do and Manchester teams are loading up on talent.

This team desperately needs two more quality singings, one in the midfield and another on the wings.

The Lacazette move that we have made should have been made a couple seasons ago. We are playing catchup.

Definitely not your first season as an Arsenal fan.

80m price tag, I'd rather go for someone else.

I'd rather give £20m of it to Alexis.

It's not your money.

Your won't any of it if they dont buy.

It goes into Stan's pocket.

And if they don't buy him they will spend quarter of that on some scrub like Welbeck.

This team is starved for quality players and here we are making a run at one of th best young prospects who supposedly wants to play for us and our fans are acting like we are Barcelona or Madrid.

Just be thankful that we are actually going for him and pray that we pull it off.

That's not true though, is it? It goes into the club's funds, for further renovation of facilities, building of new stadiums, etc. Stan is just paid a modest consulting fees

Even if true, none of it interests me more than money being spent on players.

I follow the team to watch quality players on the pitch in an Arsenal jersey.

No way he is woth 80 mil, and if he is Sanchez is worth double. Don't see it.

Doesn't matter if he is worth double, he has one year left on his contract then he walks for free, that is why his price is down graded.

I understand just don't get these high valuations on players no way 80 mil. More surprised clubs are willing to pay the prices.

Football is simple. A player is worth whatever the club he is contracted to say he is worth.

How come that never works with us? RVP and Cesc both let go cheap compared to these kind of evals

Market is loaded at the moment, players are going for crazy money so are being bought for crazy money.

The point is what does it matter if we buy a player for £80m if we'll recoup that in a sale of either him or other players?

This is where Wenger fell behind in recent years because he couldn't wrap his head around the inflation.

The trick is to know which players have too high risk of devaluation, take Sanchez for e.g he is worth now (with a longer term contract) a lot more than Barca sold him for.

Monaco is looking at Lemar the same way, why sell a 21 yr old for £40m when in two years he may be worth £80m if his potential blossoms.
