What he doesn't love is the fans, he also has lost his appetite for being competitive.

He literally thinks he makes the rules of football and now he's so overshadowed in power and influence by your Utd's, Cities, Chelsea and with Liverpool and Spurs threatening to take our spot i think Wenger may finally crack.

He loves the job not the club. If he truly loved the club he would have stepped aside when the likes of Pep, Klopp, Conte and Allegri became available.

Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Monaco's Thomas Lemar, after the 22-year-old attacker turned down a new contract at the French club.

Jurgen Klopp had wanted to bring in the winger this January due to the decision to sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, but Monaco were completely unwilling to let him go in the middle of the season, after a summer that saw their 2017 title-winning team stripped apart.

It is still seen as inevitable that Lemar will go at some point, and his unwillingness to sign a new deal weakens Monaco's position. Liverpool are likely to return in the summer, having had a £78m bid rejected in 2017.

After the signings in the Jan window, I think it's fair to say our interest in Lemar is over. I don't see where Wenger would put him in the current lineup and I think his focus has shifted to GK, CB and DM anyway.

You think that his focus has shifted to a DM, or you hope that his focus has shifted to a DM?

Yep, unfortunately a player who will never come here now. Can't see how he goes to Liverpool either though, they're stacked out wide and unless Klopp thinks he can turn him into a quality CM then where will he fit? He'd basically be replacing Ox who they just spunked 40m on anyway.

Mbappe and Bernardo have hardly been crap. Mendy got a serious injury so can't be judged. Only Bakayoko can be considered a flop.

If we have enough money to sign lemar it should be spent on a DM and a couple of CBs.

Lemar should be our number one transfer target. We need a wide player with speed who can deliver diagonal balls into the box. His service from the left is phenomenal. He and Auba could cause havoc. He’s also a serious goal threat.

We have plenty of CMs. What we need is someone who will stretch defenses and offer an attacking threat. Presently we are too narrow playing central midfielders in wide positions. We are easy to defend. Get Lemar for the left and develop Nelson for the right and suddenly we are playing like Liverpool.

We can have Messi and Ronaldo with our midfield and defense we would still lose. Balance issue isn't attack. It's us getting absolutely overrun in the middle. Ask every mou team we played and look at what Spurs did on the weekend. Made dembele look like prime schwin.
