Deal is close now. They improved their bid to the same as what they paid for Walker

The guy who has told me this is 3/3 including departures this window and has informed me about deals in the past such as Nacho and Perez. Only incorrect report was the Higuain deal so who knows, but he sounded very confident.

we need 5/5 to rebuild the team.

Good luck Lemar.

As others have said. We are not aggressive enough in terms of when it comes to buying players. I can understand we can't really compete with the likes of City, Chelsea and Utd when it comes to really high fees but one things for sure we play the waiting game way too much to either unsettle the feathers of players or trying our luck with the club taking a lower fee. Either pay over the odds or move on.

Probably is Wenger dithers.

City got Silva for 43m cos they came on early.

Now forced to pay 52m for Mendy as a result of other transfers/timing.

Was it said that Monaco valued Lenar at 25m at the start of the summer ...?

we will need to dish out 60 mil at least. should bid that next.

they know lemar wants to come here, so thats an acceptable fee for them

With Mendy now on his way to City, seriously doubt we will get Lemar.

Nope, I think our 'business' is done.

as soon as it was clear monaco was selling only one more, no way we could compete with city. Only way we would get lemar was if they wanted to sell like lacazette, oxil and sanchez

Question is, if Lemar is worth the 60-70m Monaco would want for him right now. Not that sure

Only way we get him is if they sell Sanchez and throw the money at Monaco in a bid to appease the fans.

If we sell Sanchez and don't buy anyone else, it will be our most disastrous transfer window ever imo.
