We all know if Barkley comes here it's purely because of the ridiculous homegrown rule.
Same reason City bought Delph & Sinclair.
Unfortunately one of the downsides of getting rid of some of our "fringe" players like Jack, Gibbs, Szcz, Jenko is they're all homegrown.

I'd rather just keep Jack then.

No he isn't lol, his tekkers is very good and his very good at handling the ball back to goal under pressure.

You can see this game against a good spurs team his matured a lot and doesn't hold onto the ball as long, his a very good player he does a respectable job as a 10 constantly receiving the ball back to goal which shouldn't even be his game.

He could learn a lot off cazorla, ozil and xhaka, just because he might not be intelligent doesn't mean he can't become a very good player

That's 1 game out of 38. I saw enough games last season where he was terrible. We've already got the likes of Chamberlain who are good in patches. We don't need more of these players. Would be such a waste to sign him.

Worth a punt for me, he is a really elegant player imo, cazorla is gone, Jack is Jack, elneny solid player but nothing special, coq is a nothing player, he can back ramsey up and he has the game to learn to play deep to if need be.

Whenever I see a club linked with Ox I think, 'great let's get some cash while we weaken a rival'. Wonder if Everton fans think same about Barkley.. Sounds harsh but being honest.

Jmiles has a massive boner for Barkley when everyone including his own manager at a mid table club don't rate him

The guy is gash with the brain the size of a peanut. Imagine a much shutter Oxlade-Chamberlain, that's Ross Shartley
