We need more offensive bite in the center of midfield imo. Xhaka, Coq, El ,are defensive enough.

We realized that simple technique doesn't cut it in the prem unless it's of the highest order like Santi. matuidi is a good footballer all round good player and hes more mobile and has experience of high quality football.

I think Seri is better if looking to replace Ramsey. Need a balance in midfield. We have gone from too much technique to not enough imo.

Doesn't look like any of these Lemar, Seri and Mahrez deals are going to happen, by the time we put in any serious offers other clubs would have got them.

Apparently we're not bidding for Seri because Nice are still in the CL qualifiers, seems odd why would we care about that.

So far another massively disappointing transfer window by a club who just never really want to invest what's needed, Chelsea have signed 3 already and are still looking to sign 3 or 4 more and yet they won the title last season, we came 5th and havr signed a freebie and a striker.....very poor show after last seasons disaster.

We know the script though, next season will be a carbon copy of the previous one, except this time we'll crash out of the Europa league instead of the CL.

I wouldn't be against Matuidi arriving. He's getting on a bit but been one of the best box2box midfielders around the past 5 or so years. Could be a smart move.

Ya exactly and his experience of top level football plus all his French buddies are here will help him settle quickly. He could be a good option beside xhaka

Matuidi would be good for us because he is defensive and has good leadership qualities we need someone with a bit of experience. I think wenger should put in a decent bid for him
