We need a Swede to atone for the Kallstrom debacle.

ARSENAL REPORTEDLY MAKE £30M BID FOR EMIL FORSBERG

Arsenal have reportedly made a bid of around £30million for RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg.

The Swedish star was one of the stars of the Bundesliga season as newly-promoted Leipzig qualified for the Champions League and as such, he is attracting a lot of attention.

Bayern Munich are also reported to have made a bid for the winger and in an interview with Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that was published earlier today, Forsberg’s agent admitted that his client could well be on the move this summer.

He said:

I will not comment on the clubs involved. There are big clubs who are very interested in Emil. He has made history in Germany. Of course, you know RB want to keep Emil, you need to constantly make sure to make Emil satisfied. He has paid back the club ten-fold. Maybe it’s time to test himself at a big club.

The 25-year-old arrived at Leipzig in January 2015 for just £5million and although the German side are adamant that they won’t be selling any players this summer, there is a lot of talk regarding interest in Forsberg.

He scored eight goals and had 22 assists last season, figures that would surely excite Arsenal fans if a move does come to fruition.

Unsure for that price-tag, especially if rumours of us only having 100M to spend are true.

What about this guy? Can't comment on him myself, but didn't he have a brilliant season for RB Leipzig?

Didn't this guy have the most assists in Europe in 2016 or something like that? I remember reading some stats, whilst I would prefer a goal scoring inside forward in the mold of Alexis, if we are playing 2 up front and selling Ozil, playing a 4-4-2 with Mkhitaryan on the other wing i'd be all for it, if we are playing a standard 4-2-3-1 I wonder where the goals are going to come from other than from Auba or Lacca whoever is playing, we will have no bite.

Not the type of player needed right now unless we’re selling a key player that plays in a similar position(s)

With Emery running things our transfer targets will likely be La Liga or Ligue 1 players. Lichtensteiner an exception since he's free and since Juve are linked with Bellerin.
