The Donnarumma of Ligue 1.

Imposing keeper with good reflexes on him. Needs to work on his parrying technique and handling, but at 18 there's plenty of time for him to do just that.

His teammate Issa Diop looks interesting as well. Similar centre back to Koulibaly.

Speaking of imposing gks what ever happened to that Dejan iliev we signed a few years back, iirc he's a towering figure like Donnarumma and Courtois.

Not surprised; he is a physical monster and seems to have good decision making for a young centre back. A bit of a donkey on the ball though from what i've seen.

To really emphasise what a total monster Donnarumma is, Hes STILL younger by 2 days than lafont who himself is a baby.

Goalkeeeprs aren't supposed to get good until they are late 20's and in their early 20's they are even considered very young. :rofll:

ARSENE WENGER has identified Alban Lafont as a long-term replacement for Petr Cech, according to reports in France.
The Toulouse stopper is just 18 but has already racked up more than 60 appearances in two impressive seasons for the Ligue 1 club.

Lafont, who made his first-team debut at just 16 in 2015, kept 11 clean sheets last season.

According to Le 10 Sport, Wenger is keen on the French U20 star.

With Ospina linked with a number of clubs and Petr Cech’s form wobbling last season, Wenger will need a replacement soon.

One or two seasons as Cechs understudy before becoming our number one sounds good

Big Alban looks like he could be the first ever world class black keeper

And hopefully it's at the Arsenal. Sanogo needs to put a word in

Ffs only just realised donnaruma is 18! What the f**k I assumed he was a decent age given the circus surrounding him.

No wonder everyone has been losing their shit.

193cm. I don't know how big that is in feet and inches though.

Alban Lafont sounds like an '80s porn star.
