Although I agree we need defenders, attacking is a form of defense. If you can consistently outscore your opponents and press from the front, then the problems at the back become less of an issue.

I want a proper winger in the squad because this phase of playing PEA as a wide forward needs to end. He is best played in the box as a poacher. Putting him out wide so Laca can play through the middle isn't a good use of £60m.
