Ivan Perišić

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Ivan Perišić

Inter are looking to set up a swap deal with Arsenal that would see Alexis Sanchez move to Italy and Ivan Perisic depart in the opposite direction, according to CalcioMercato.

The Nerrazzurri are keen to add a big name to their squad come the summer transfer window, and they believe by offering Perisic to the Gunners they can tempt them to part with Chile international Alexis.

Arsenal have made an approach to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic. #AFC want loan with £35m option to buy. 29yo open to #Inter exit. Fits plan of versatile midfielder e.g. Suarez (still possible) / Nkunku + winger. Unclear if injuries mean defender wanted but Sokratis not bad

YESSSSSSS

Fantastic winger. My expectations have been completely subverted here. Massive if this goes through.

Only downside is age (29) but he has 3 or 4 seasons in him i believe.

Don’t like his age profile but we have Reiss, Saka, ESR etc coming through

Would give this a miss, could see him have one good season and go downhill, need to go for someone younger.

We’d have Micki & Perisic at 30 with no resale value...

Hopefully it’d be an option to buy not an obligation

But has Sims said, hopefully come the end it’s an option, not an obligation to buy

This has shades of Mkhitaryan all over it...

The good news is I am glad we are looking for a wide player. However, Perisic is 29-years old and has no resale value. He would be adding to an already ageing squad.

I don't mind him on a short-term deal from now until the end of the season. But as stated above, I'd hope it's an 'option' to buy rather than an 'obligation' to buy.

What is concerning is how we are being linked with midfielders and wingers, but no defenders.

Why would Inter be happy to loan him out?

Great if it happens. Player in the peak of his career who can dribble and cross.
