Nice has matched our bid and it seems once again we are dithering on signing a player that has such a low buyout clause. Anyone who cant see this players talent dont know football. But we are wasting time on players we cant get once again. Arsenal is by far the best team in the world going after players and expect praise when not signing them

Henry Onyekuru has spoken out amid speculation he could be set for a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old KAS Eupen striker has been linked with the Gunners for a number of weeks and recent reports suggest the north London outfit have agreed a deal ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Onyekuru lines up alongside Alex Iwobi for Nigeria and the youngster lifted the lid on a conversation he had with the Arsenal forward about a potential transfer to the Emirates in the coming months.
‘He [Iwobi] is a nice fellow, who is open to all despite his star status in the team,’ Onyekuru told Own Goal.

‘We talked a bit about Arsenal and their manager Arsene Wenger and he has nothing but praises for his manager and team-mates.
‘Iwobi said they are like a family in the dressing room, and even the senior players treat the upcoming players like their equals.

‘It was a very brief discussion but he said a lot of good things about the club.’

Yeah, the guys who talk it up this much are usually making up our interest more out of hope than expectation. Like when Kalou said any player would want to play for Wenger. If we were really in for him his agent should be telling him to keep his cool and not act star struck.

If we're not going for elite players like Mbappe or Aubamayeng though we may as well take a punt on guys like this.

We didnt deny an offer had been made. Two season ago Dyballa's agent claimed we had made an offer and Wenger immediately responded asking him to prove it. There may be something in this rumor yet.

We are talking about 6.8 million for huge talent. Absolute worth the risk. We are willing to pay 100 million for 18 year old. 1 year ago we wouldnt pay 20 million for him. We are not real/barca. We are not gonna get players once they establish themselves as world class talents. Ousmane dembele the season before he went to dortmund eas available for 2.5 milliion and was going to an austrian team. They thought it was too much money. Once he goes to a pl team his value will go up 10 times

Last month the debate on here was he's a talent but we need signings who ready to make an impact now not more youngsters to stash. Well forget Laca, Lemar and Mbappe , we can't even get the youngsters sign either ...... :hiding:

I dont its about money, I think we matched the clause. Its as a case of Everton being able to offer him an easier route to first team football. He can break into their first team a lot easier than ours. Nothing to worry about and actually a positive thing. Made sure he isnt going to end up like Sanogo and Asano.

he's going on loan anyway so don't get it

these are the types of deals that fvck me off the most tbh, some fail but some end up going for 40m+ in a few seasons and we should be taking the chances at <10m.
