Arsenal will revisit a deal for Brazilian forward Malcom, 20, from Bordeaux in the summer, and could target Atletico Madrid and Slovenia keeper Jan Oblak, 25, as a replacement for 35-year-old Czech Petr Cech. (Evening Standard)

Yes please. Replacement for Cech essential this summer - he was a good buy for £10 mil three years ago, but he's getting well past his Best Before Date. As I recall, we signed him on a 4 year contract, so could still be a decent reserve/mentor for a young keeper like Oblak for one more season.

Only ever seen him in the CL final where he was complete dog.

How good would he be behind a defence that can't defend?

Atletico are defensive so his stats look good

New Head of Football Relations at Arsenal, Raul Sanllehi, has identified Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as the club’s main transfer target for the summer. [SPORT] #afc

Three things stand in the way of this happening imo:

1. How we finish the season
2. Real Madrid or PSG
3. Our summer budget

I believe in that order. This is one of those deals where we need to act quickly before the vultures start circling but we are not in any position to do that atm. If I were the club, I’d have at least three other names because oblak doesn’t look realistic at least not now

Aubameyang didn't sound realistic too a few weeks ago, but we got him.
Maybe the circumstances will be suitable then to get Oblak as well.
I'm optimistic with Sven and Raul in charge of tje transfers.
