Drogba was a beast in big games.

A regular scorer he was not.

I'd rather aggy

From what I remember Drogba didn't see 100% committed at times, when he was committed he could be unplayable which explains his big occasion performances.

As I said

Drogbas reputation is enhanced cos of his record in big games. Was never a regular scorer in the smaller games.

For interest's sake: Top 10 (min 10 goals)

1. Aguero
2. Henry
3. Le Fondre (only 12 goals)
4. Van Nistelrooy
5. Chicharito
6. Diego Costa
7. Kane
8. Suarez
9. Van Persie
10. Crespo

Its a rather pointless stat tbh

Shearer is the best striker in premiership history by some distance, a fact no one here would dispute yet his name isn't seen anywhere on those lists

He didn't start scoring goals regularly until his 3rd season at United, but when he did, he was superior to anything this league has seen since Henry which is why its a stupid stat. Only Suarez has come close to that level of devastation. RvP was almost as deadly but over a much shorter period.

Cristiano only had one big time goal scoring season in 2007/08 for United, he had quality returns in 2006/07 and 2008/09 but it was at Madrid his goalscoring went to supanova levels.

In his first 3 season he didn't score much at all, i think he might of scored like 7 in 2005/06 or something
