Would be great alongside Torreira if paired with a specialist who can playmake/run with the ball in a 3 man midfield, for the way Emery plays at least.

If it was this guy alongside Torreira with 3 cbs behind them, then even with a winger we would not be scoring much, we would have no creativity in the middle.

Meanwhile the Gunners are the favourites to sign 22-year-old Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie from AC Milan. (Tuttomercato - in Italian)

Allegedly indicated he wants to leave Milan.

Reportedly has something to do with him getting into a scuffle with Biglia and the subsequent fine he received.

Would’ve had a punt when he’s at Atalanta but not now

I'd take this deal, Kessie plus £35m for Torreira, as much as i love Torreira, if hes unsettled etc, Kessie is arguably better, bigger, quicker, more suitable to our needs being more box to box plus a good ball winner, about the same age, plus we get £35m to spend.

Franck Kessie has emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham and Arsenal, but they would need to stump up a fee in the region of €50 million (£45.5m / $60.7m ) for the midfielder.

Calciomercato claims the two Premier League sides are keeping tabs on Kessie, ahead of possible bids next summer

Don't need him with Partey and Elneny. Cahanoglu however would be a welcome addition.

Tottenham are leading the race to sign Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie, whose contract with AC Milan runs out in the summer. Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in the 25-year-old but Spurs have already held talks with Kessie's camp. (Express)
