Didn't need Wenger to confirm this fake roumers anyway after wasting 35M on the swiss Barton he's not spending that type of money or more on a player unless they're certified world class.

Arsenal transfer news and rumours: Torino president warns Gunners Andrea Belotti is worth £130m

PLUS: Alexis Sanchez is set to leave the Emirates this summer and Martin Keown questions Arsene Wenger's decision to drop the Chilean to the bench at Anfield

Torino president Urbano Cairo has warned Arsenal that striker Andrea Belotti is worth £130million.

The Gunners continue to be linked with a summer swoop for the in-form forward whose hat-trick against Palermo on Sunday took his league tally to 22 from just 24 games so far this season.

"If I had to insert a figure in his contract right now I would go for €150m (£130m)," Cairo told Sky Sport in Italy. "He scored three more crazy goals, one even better than the other.

"We will have to wait and see whether a team is willing to pay €100m (£86m). I hope not because I want to keep him here. We are just enjoying him and his goals for now."

He is good, and probably the future of Italy, but he is not worth that much.

The Montpellier president once valued Giroud at something 40-60 million iirc.

More likely he ends up at Chelsea to be honest with Conte there and the wages they offer.

Arsenal are leading the chase to sign Torino’s Andrea Belotti, who has hugely impressed during a campaign in which he has scored 27 goals in all competitions.

The 23-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers, though the Serie A club will demand as much as £85 million for him.

Lel @ £85m. But yeah, he's on the market.

We'll never pay that kind of money. Specially if we succumb to Sanchez's wage demands.

Immobile 2.0

Way better, no doubt about it.

But the risk is he could do the same as his countryman : being shit outside Italy.

Stinks our academy hasn't produced a forward we can depend on. Whatever happened to Afobe and Akpom? United produced Rashford, Spurs produced Kane. We wouldn't be in this jam had hey done better.

I dont like him either way......I prefer a striker who can create on his own. Not one that depends on service for everything.
