Had we not got Chambers and Holding and Gabirla and Mustafi since then, then I'd take Jones. However, we've got enough shoddy backups now that we don't need him.

I actually like him more as a Jose style DM destroyer, he did well there for Fergie but we don't play like that. Nothing to do with memories, it's about times and needs changing, plus some players do stagnate, are 'people' supposed to predict that?
