Zenith with a shocker here. Engels means English, Angels would be translated to engelen.
Zenith out.
Think Engels translates into angels from flemish though? It does in afrikaans

which is Engel
Anyway, I believe Yago is a Bruges fan so he'll be able to give a more detailed opinion about him.
I am.
Love the guy.
He's tall, but not slow either. He's very good on set pieces too, which is always nice. He scored 9 goals in 43 league appearances (total, not season) which I'd say isn't bad at all for a defender. Another one of his strengths is his passing ability on the ball. Hell, I'd say he's a better passer than half the starting DMs playing in Belgium.
Overall he's just a very solid and promising defender. He started out last season injured, and came back in the team in late December. First game was a defeat to Anderlecht, but after that one Bruges went on to win 15 of their next 18 games (and then drawing the last game of the season when they had already won the league). Engels brought much needed stability and confidence at the back, and the team conceded only 13 goals in those 18 games, with Engels nog playing due to a minor injury in the defeats to Genk (4-2) and Anderlecht (1-0).
He was in the Belgium team for the euros, but was ultimately left out because of a late injury (would've played too, as he's better than J. Lukaku - Denayer). Of course, Kompany and Lombaerts were out too...
As Zenith said, the injuries + lack of experience on a high level are the downsides. Belgium's league can't be compared with the prem. On top of that, he sometimes makes a stupid mistake - unneeded yellow card, etc.
