But yeah, I believe Wenger's convinced that Arsenal is some kind of elite club in Europe and that every player would join us bar the obvious 3 (BRB). We're easily getting outclassed by the other top clubs in England.

Well said. I'm seriously starting to worry about this summer. The way we came in last second for this deal screams that we have not scouted players properly and we don't have a plan for who we really want. Considering the holes we have in our squad compared to our rivals, we should be the ones that are the most active right now and we should be breaking the bank to bring our targets in. The longer we wait the less likely potential targets will join us and the less likely we will do well in the league as these players won't have proper preseason under their belts
