no

if we keep ozil play a 442 diamond and get a new cdm to play as a 3rd cb and have the wingbacks push up for width and have ramsey and mikhi behind ozil

Yep really wana sell our best player for a kid with a shit attitude, dear god.

Would love to get Dembele but he's still a massive gamble and would cost a ridiculous price cos of what Barca paid, plus no reason he'd want to come.

This whole link to Dembele makes absolutely no sense to me. Barcelona spent £120-30m on him last summer and are hardly going to write off tens of millions off of his value in one year, and nobody - let alone us - is going to pay £100m+ for him. I also don't see why Barcelona would consider letting him go out on loan, either. Total non story.

If Barca got Griezmann a loan would make sense though. Dembele surely wants to play every game and not just be a backup option.
Barca knows he's one for the future as Suarez is on the wrong side of the 30s plus they would probably get a loan fee of about 15-20m out of him, which many clubs would happily pay.

Because he can't get into the team. Coutinho has done much better so far since signing so the front 3 starters will be Couts - Suarez - Messi.

But still doesn't make sense to loan your first backup out, now that Iniesta is gone that's what he is.

To double down on what Mesut Santi said, Coutinho has slipped in the glove well at Barca. He doesn't have issues with Messi or Suarez. He knows his role. Dembele has been unable to do that. And he is unwilling to wait, apparently.

If they sign Griezmann then he will be 5th choice, agreed he was a absolute waste of money, but with Suarez aging, he could relight his fire with us for a season then go back and slot in.

This kid will end up at Bayern or pool before arsenal. We should not be wasting time on this one.... Better chance we go for lemar before dembele.

I'd be happy with Lemar infact most of the French wingers, Martial, Coman etc etc

I understand Dembele hasn't been a hit and Barcelona will be looking to strengthen their attack, but I just can't see them giving up on him after a year (in which he was injured for a fair bit too). I don't see them loaning out a player that cost them so much either.

Loaning out a young player to a high profile club is not giving up, if anything he will get better.
