Ousmane Dembélé

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Reminds me of my fondness for Kerrison, i was doing the same thing 10 years ago :rofll:

and Leroy Sane is one of the very few who seem to really work hard and be quite grounded, love him as well.

I'd put him in the list below tbh. very good player though.

Boufal
[*]Neymar (he not a youngster anymore, infact hes at his peak right now tbh.
Dembele
Draxler
Brandt
Pogba
Pulisic

All examples of quality young players who don't work hard enough cos they already think they're the dogs bollocks.

Mbappe - not sure yet, seems a bit better than the rest.
Asensio - not sure either way yet

Agreed although Neymar is no youngster anymore despite his mad child behaviour. Pogba is even worse than Balotelli in terms of wasted talent, Balotelli had all sorts of stuff going against him, racism, adopted family issues with identity etc... Pogba is being lead around like a dog by Raiola. He needs to become his own man and forget bout his hair. His defensive game is a horror show.

I mean alright, the tattoo is a bit ridiculous but he doesn't seem to be the snotty nosed little kid from what I've seen but granted that is only since he's been at City. I feel he's earned his way so far, the other act as if they are entitled to it and regularly go missing.

Maybe Sane will show more petulance if City aren't as good or if he moves to another team but for now I think he's a class above those others in terms of attitude.

Neymar might not be so young anymore but he's definitely a child on the inside, don't know if he's missed his late teens early twenties growing up period by being so famous and focused on football but someone should give him a smack or twelve.

I really like the way Sane plays, he has a bright future, i don't really know much about him tbh. he has just been good ever since he broke through in that game and goal vs madrid all those years ago.

Yes, your almost right, hes been hyped up as the next pele since age 12 actually so he has had a little bit of a Michael Jackson esque upbringing of never having a childhood. Ithink hi dad still owns him fundamentally.

There's no way they recover this much of their investment:
-They overpaid to begin with. Everyone knew that the day they signed him.
-He got a repetitive injury that required surgery and kept him out for half a season.
-He was not consistently started when he did return from injury. And when he did start he was almost always substituted.
-He played a full 90 minutes only two times all season. One was in a 5-1 win and the other was in a 6-1 win.
-3 goals in 17 appearances, two in the aforementioned 5-1 win.
-He just finished a world cup winning campaign with France and looked like one of the worst players they had in the entire squad.
-They save 60m in performance/appearance based add-on fees by selling now.

Realistically I think 70m is the price they should ask for. Even then I wouldn't guarantee they will get that I wouldn't be surprised if we pop in a 55m or so bid to test them if we are interested.

He has a lot of maturing to do, but talent wise he is one of the best at his age.

And we need a fast paced winger, so have to go for him if doable.

Injured for almost the entire season within days of signing for Barca? Pass.

Would rather hijack Fulham's move for Schurrle.

I really don't see anything from his barca or international performances to be hyped about this guy so far. What am I missing?

Would wait a few years before declaring Emile Smith Rowe as the best.

There are better players we can get for 100m

Dembele is too lightweight and mentally weak for us right now
