If you’re pining about Malen, think about how City must feel about Sancho.

They have a great squad and endless money, we don't.
Malen isn't even the biggest prospect we lost for almost nothing. Gnabry is already arguably one of the best german players and Jeff is on his way to become a very good player.

The fee at the time seemed fair tbh. For a player who couldn't stay fit and nail down a regular place in the U23s.

EUR 1.6m rising to 3M with a sell on clause and first option to buy back.

Also worth remembering how many bang average players have managed to score crazy goals in the Eredvise

I remember he kept coming in overweight, obviously didn't try hard enough, he looks good now though.

imagine if in January we spunked 50m on this kid and still did nothing about our defence that concedes 2 goals minimum a week.

Let him go too easily in the first place. Should have either loaned him out or at least included a buy back clause.

Malen always looked first team material but he looks better than first thought.

Our club is a true shitshow behind the scenes.

Gnabry was too fat at west brom, not surprised, when you have super, amazing world class superstar Theo Walcott guaranteed to start ahead of you or make the bench ahead of you no matter what you do, whats the f***ing point.

His wings really spread out like crazy as soon as he left in 2006!

You’re exaggerating. All these guys were given chances and never grabbed them. They moved to smaller clubs in weaker divisions and built up their experience and profile. That happens. Not much one can do about it.

No, i'm seeing the cause and effect of incredible board and managerial negligence over the last decade.

Making life comfortable for incompetent players with big wages and big marketing presence and letting talents go fro nothing who could of come in and made a difference.

You win some, you lose some, none of the players mentioned would make us any better than we are now, players like Gnabry, he looks great when his team is dominating everything every week, how would they look playing infront of Luiz, Mustafi, AMN & Xhaka.

Lol nobody was thinking Gnabry, Malen, Jeff and Bennacer were going to bench the likes of Ozil and Sanchez or any other first team player. Maybe Iwobi for Gnabry but thats about it.
