I think this may be dead in the water with no CL football, wasn’t convinced with him anyway.

Imagine this guy in the center of the box coming in to meet a Martinelli cross. Can't imagine it? Yeah neither can I, because Jesus is a tap-in merchant, the type we have failed to do anything with.

I wish we’d signed Mahrez years ago, we were linked with him, what a signing he’s been for them.

As for Jesus lol.

My biggest fear is that we drag THIS transfer out all summer and build hype so people don't panic about the flood of nobodies like Austin Trusty that will be arriving to fill out the squad numbers.

......... right now we're lucky if he even still wants to come.

The lack of quality players we fielded against Newcastle was particularly scary.

We need any and all who will come here, it would work as well if that doughnut manager of ours made the formation to fit the signings.

Jesus works well in a 3-4-3 or a 4-3-3 as a LWF in either formation.

No need to track back too much just focus on attacking.

You'd have moaned about him non-stop.

No because he’s top class and was at Leicester. I have an issue when we go out and sign sub-standard players something this club has had a history of doing.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are expected to bid £35m for Manchester City's Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus, 25, who is set to leave following Erling Haaland's arrival. (football.london)

The only players that will come to us will be for the big fat pay cheque cos they sure won't be coming to win anything :sneaky2:

The Telegraph reports that Tottenham are ready to battle it out with north London rivals Arsenal for Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian striker has just won another Premier League title at Manchester City, but he could be on the move this summer.

Won't be getting him then

Spurs have Kane and Son. Don't think he goes there if he's looking for guaranteed first team football.

Bring him to the carpet and move onto the next target.

Tottenham have ambition and a desire to achieve the highest honours. We can mock but if we had a Son or Kane they would have been sold long ago.

They will be significantly stronger than us next season.

Everything points to this being a done deal for us, so Spurs' being interested is probably a dumb rumour. Conte will want CBs and CMs to replace the chancers he dragged to Top4. Their attack is fine.

I certainly hope so….we are now back in the position of having to pay ott wages to persuade decent players to come and gamble on CL next year.
