Alejandro Grimaldo, is to depart the club after becoming frustrated after failing to graduate from the reserves. Benfica are ready to swoop for the B team captain and will be asked to pay €1 million.

Thought of the exact same joke when I saw the thread.

Saw this.

Left disappointed.

Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are in the best position to sign Benfica left back Alejandro Grimaldo, according to Mundo Deportivo.

While Manchester City, Napoli and Inter remain interested, the Gunners are in a good spot to sign the 23-year-old, who they see as a long-term replacement for Nacho Monreal.

Atletico also has uncertainty on the left, with the future of Filipe Luis and Lucas Hernandez both questions and could do with Grimaldo as their potential answer.

Kolasinac is more of a wing back, Monreal is beyond his pass.
We could need a left back.

Can't be worse than Tavares.

Swap deal potentially?
