Jese

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

He is a well rounded utility player and would be a massive upgrade over likes of Walcott and Ox.

I am not sure if he is a game-changer though.

He is the kind of signing you make after you have everything in place so that he brings it all together.

To be honest, we need a more impact player up front before a Jese-like singing but it definitely would not be a bad signing should it happen.

PSG are being linked with him ahead of Lacazette at the moment.

Never really been impressed with him when I have seen him play, he was more of a passenger, runner in the latter stages of games so couldn't really draw a conclusion.

They showed more faith in him than Morata, so who knows?

^ this. He's not a player you'd regret but no upgrade on our current set of players. He's a one to one replacement for Welbeck. I'd still do the deal though cause we are starved upfront.

Two welbecks are better than one Walcott and one Campbell aren't they? Let's be honest we are paying those two guys wages with no expectations. The likes of Welbeck and Jese will always be useful given their technical ability and versatility.

PSG agreed on fees for Jese.

Which also means, the only other real threat for Lacazette is off the market.

Which also means more poker power to Wenger for Lacazette.

Makes sense with Cavani moving into the CF role Moura will play out wide with Di Maria and Jesé will operate as backup.

Think so ^

Seems like PSG are gonna give Edi 1 chance up front to prove he was worth the money. Don't think he'd even stay if they didn't promise him that tbh, but Jese is a decent backup to cover all 3 positions, something we didn't need at all.

Won't be surprised to see PSG revamp their front line next year with a new CF and a replacement for Moura.

'Worth the money' doesn't make much sense when you consider that they paid £50 million for David fuckin Luiz. Both he and Cavani have been starting games regularly since they arrived, and Cavani has scored 79 goals in 3 seasons playing on the wing.
