IMO, I dont think he wanted to stay. He saw the writing on the wall once Kante bailed. Or else he would not waited until really late in the window to sign that new contract.

I honestly do feel that the French reports were true (some of the reporters reporting it are generally reliable) and at one point we were interested in him, but I have a feeling LC asked for too much. Once Mahrez's camp understood that we were not going to meet LC's asking price, he had no choice but to sign that contract on an increased wage.

Yup. Vardy is the one we can all really laugh at. Wanted to come to Arsenal initially but gave into pressure from his LC and his teammates.

If Lucas Perez ends up being successful here, Vardy is going to look at him and regret it.

So Mahrez looks the quality player he is and Leicester cruise to a 3-0 away win in Europe ... wish we been 'found-out' rather than lucked out with a point ... but hey who needs Mahrez? we've got Theo and Ox ....

If only we didn't spend 35M on a bench warmer and flogged Walcott and Chamberlain we could have purchased Mahrez for 50-60M and keep Joel and backup.

Yeah, PSG and Brugge are exactly the same quality sides. In fact, a point against Club Brugge is probably greater than a win against PSG because that team is that good.

I knew people would be back on his dick again after two goals, 1 of which was a penalty.

Leicester wasn't even good, Bruges just gifted them that win. First Izquierdo missing a 1vs1, then goalie blundering for the 0-1 on a long throw, very stupid foul by retired player Simons for the Mahrez free kick (great goal though) and a penalty caused by the goalie stopping Vardy after the defender had generously gifted him the ball.
They had less possession and their football was flat out poor. Worst thing was that c*** Slimani shoving Engels to the ground with no hope of recovering the ball whatsoever, resulting in him being out for at least a month.

Yep yep. Pablo back at it again. How many more times does he have to prove everyone wrong?

Reus to come out next.
