I'd pick him all day long.

Not sure where this Mahrez hype is coming from, good player but nothing outstanding.

He was a standout player when Leicester won the league :don’tknow:

So was Vardy.

Is he better than Aubamaeyang now then?

One season doesn't make a career either so not sure what your comment was trying to say?

You compared him to mikky who’s done f all in the premiership in comparison, at a bigger club!

So, if I put Messi at Bournemouth does that make Mahrez better than him as well?

The question was "Who's the better player" not who's achieved more with a particular club.

Leicesters one season wonder doesn't make all Leicester players WC by default does it?

If messi went to man utd, lost his place in the team and lost confidence and form, yes. But that wouldn’t happen cos messi is world class.

Mahrez has been class this year, last year even unmotivated he got double figures, 2 quality seasons from the last 3 and one still ok season whilst not motivated, guy is class, mhky is unproven in the pl but I do think he will come good.

Any manager can mistakes but if pep is willing to spend over 60m on you his judgement has to be trusted.

Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez is keen to join Arsenal. The 27-year-old Algerian recently withdrew a transfer request but still wants to leave. (Sunday Express)

Welbeck is 100% a worse football player than Xhaka.

Would love for us to sign him but where would he play? Mkhitaryan is RM/RW and PEA plays wide forward when Laca is on the field.

Mahrez can't play on the left at all, which is a shame as he would be a huge upgrade on Welbeck/Iwobi.

Love Mahrez but we need a more direct player rather than a playmaker.

Mhitaryan can play Left wing also as hes 2 footed.

Just put Mikki down the left with Riyad on the right, he has been dangerous from the left before, like the game against AC Milan when he scored. What a devastating attack if we add Mahrez.

Even if we dont get him, we need a winger for sure, a proper out and out winger, someone like Sane for example. We are really lacking quality in that department right now. Iwobi terrible, welbeck average, and our youngsters are still young yet.

I don't think we will go in for a left winger because we are playing 4-3-2-1 now
