Posted: Mon Jan 08, 2018 8:30 pmEvans is rubbish and not the quality we should be looking at, plus he's 30. We should be doing like Liverpool and buying someone decent in their mid 20s not a guy who will be finished in a couple years.
I can just see what he's thinking, bring in Evans short term (the guy will still cost a fair amount) and bring in that Greek nobody in 2-3 years, we've already been through that with Senderos and Djourou and look where that got us!

Good point. Silvestre came in as a stop gap for djourou and senderos, Evans comes in as a stop gap for holding and chambers.
