Why would he do that. No club is going to suddenly pay £60m for him if they’re turning down the chance to get him for £25m this year.

I don’t see the benefit in him extending even if he stays. If he runs down his contract he will have his pick of clubs next year - including the option to stay at Leicester - and can demand a huge signing fee.
