He’s a worse version of Xhaka based on tonight’s performance.

If he’s not a DM then he’s up against ESR and Odegaard. More importantly we don’t need that position filled.
No idea why we are looking at him - if we are.
I would rather Elneny in the position Tielemans played tonight.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are all vying for the signature of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans - according to Fichajes.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also tracking the 24-year-old, whose current contract with the Foxes is due to expire in 2023.

A bidding war is set to erupt if Leicester are unable to tie Tielemans to a renewal between now and the end of the season.

We need to get this done asap before the other clubs get in. No chance we get him then

If he has ambition he will stay far away from this club. I thin Leicester will finish above us this season anyway.

Rodgers, who has guided Leicester to successive fifth-placed finishes in the Premier League although they sit 10th this season, says complacency has crept in among his players and changes need to be made, saying the "time could be up" for some of his squad.

"Too many players think they are top players but are a long way off," added Rodgers. "Some players may have achieved everything they can here.

Hopefully Tielemans is one who needs a new challenge

Get him this summer

Why would we want a player who is losing focus and thinks he’s Billy big bollocks because he is at Leicester????

Avoid like the plague.

Even aside from his attitude some of his performances have been so bad.

Yes form is everything in football, when out of form a usually top footballer can look like he struggles to do basic things.

Tielemens is a very good player.

Gotta work out which it is though somehow, is it bad attitude leading to poor performances or just not performing his best in the current surroundings.

I think he’s shown to be a good player but I’d like to see him show drive and determination to give his best for the rest of the season to improve Leicester’s fortunes. That’s the kind of player you’d want around, showing fight when things aren’t going your way.

Gerrard was a great example of it, as much as I don’t like the scouser.

Very few Gerrard around though, these are Keane, Vieira types you see once a twice a generation.

Gerrard use to dig Liverpool out of some almighty holes, the goal against West Ham in the cup final was unreal.

Yeah of course, not expecting him to be on the same level but at least show the desire in a similar way. We do need to look at attitude as part of our recruitment because we’ve had too many who don’t show up when things aren’t going well.
