Jordan Amavi

Nice fullback Jordan Amavi is interesting Arsenal.

The 21 year-old has just completed his first full season of senior football, where he established himself as a first-choice at Nice.

Amavi, a left-back, has been watched by Gunners scouts and RMC says manager Arsene Wenger is keen to take him to London this summer.

Olympique Lyon are also interested in Amavi and will bid for the youngster should Nice show a willingness to sell.

However, it's understood Amavi would jump at the chance to join Arsenal should Wenger firm up their interest.

How good is he technically? Is he quick? Good discipline?

Sign him up! Him and bellerin can terrorize the Bpl for years to come.

if this means the end of Gibbs then I'm all for it...we are badly in need of a young option at LB

He plays for Nice so he'll be dirt cheap. Sign the lad!

Anyone been following his career?

I remember when he was at nice and he looked like an exciting prospect, doesn’t seem like he fulfilled his potential.

Addressing the lack of dedicated competition and cover for Tierney in being the replacement for Kolasinac. Entering into his prime years too.

Even if this particular deal doesn't get done, at least it's indicative of an issue having been recognised and undertaking remedial action.

Knock on effect would be no longer having to utilise Soares as cover whilst the lack of serving any further purpose then permits Maitland-Niles to be sold.
