Never heard of this Xhaka dude and haven't been impressed by his shenanigans thus far but if he gets Rodriguez to join, he'll be forgiven by all true fans

He's gonna kick out Rambo
And throw Theo out the door
He's gonna replace Per with Benatia
And make Arsenal FC great again

Although I'd be happy if we got RR. Its be an absolute shame if we strengthen at LB but don't buy a quality striker. It'd be the typical Arsene Wenger modus operadi. Bring in a few players to improve the team, but don't complete the job. There always has to be 1 or 2 positions which remain ignored...

We can spend as much as we want

Us getting a left back should have no impact in getting a striker whatsoever

If we really get him, imo, we're finally spending big this summer.

In a perfect world....once again you forgot who holds the purse strings and his patterns over the last few years. Never bet against consistency. It is very likely we do not buy a quality striker in the summer. You know it. I know it, we all know it.

It SHOULD have no bearing, but with Wenger, it might.... :)

It could

But I genuinely think Arsene's had enough with our strike force tbh. Kept saying throughout the season that our finishing wasn't good enough and with the amount of striker movement this summer I'd be surprised if we didn't invest

Whether we think it's the right man or not is a different question

Gibbs moving to LW? that's where he started. Is great going forward too.

Sanchez on the right.

... I jus don't wanna lose Gibbsy :hiding:

No Gibbs stay where he is and this guy becomes first choice lb. Monreal becomes a center back. I think wenger would play him as CB instead of buying one

Don't think he'd work with Bellerin we'll be too attacking, right now we have the right balance with Bellerin and Monreal.

I'd play Monreal as CB if we don't buy one. He's our best defender.

Obviously I'd rather if we buy a CB.

Why not? Our spend would only be £45m at this point looool

We can spend like £100m+
