Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Ridiculous decision if true. This guy hasn't managed 10 goals in the last 2 years.

20/21 - 4 goals - ~800 mins played
19/20 - 2 goals - ~ 1000 mins played
20/21 - 0 goals

Eddie and Martinelli at least know the PL, they couldn't be worse.

Arsenal will make an offer to sign Luka Jovic on loan from Real Madrid before the January transfer window closes.

The Sun reports the Gunners are looking for an alternative option as they are set to miss out on Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic and see a short-term deal for Serbia international Jovic as the solution to their problems.

Does he not get much game time for Madrid these days?

Not with benzema not knowing what it means to pack it in at his age.

Anyway getting jovoc is basically getting the striker version of ceballos. Very underwhelming.

He never did. Barely played his first years then went on loan back to his old club, now back at Real and back to barely playing.

Not tall enough. He's like a Serbian Lacazette, who by the way, had bags of goals on him before Arteta decided he is a false 9, link player.

We need a tall, strong, bully boy, that can poach headers and 1st time goals

Well bugger me! So he is. He looked small on the YouTube video I watched. Must have been huge defenders

Sign him up then

Another striker who doesn't get enough goals.
3 goals in 32 games in La Liga over the last 3 years.

Slightly better in the Bundesliga - 4 goals whilst on loan over 18 games last year.

Hardly prolific no matter where he goes.

This guy's not going to make any difference. We need a player that can start games, not somebody who's been on the periphery of his own club for 2 years and has never played in the PL.

He must have something. Real Madrid only buy certain types of player. If they use them or not is a different story.

My first choice would still be Ivan Toney for now, to get us out of this hole we have dug ourselves. Then get a top striker in the summer if we get CL football.

A loan for him is a good idea if we have no other option because if it don't work out we can send him home and we will have our summer transfer budget to play with.

Say we go and spunk 70m on Isak or Calvert-Lewin and they flop, we are stuck with them on a long arse contract on high wages and likely have to subsidise wage and take a huge loss on the transfer fee to offload them.

This lad is just as good as them, hes just out of form and it dont help Benzema is undroppable at Madrid.

Hes worth a 6 month loan with option gamble when we are very limited on choice at the moment, and we can use the cash we didn't spend on a striker on Bruno from Lyon before Newcastle steal him.

I did however read earlier that Benzema has picked up a injury so this might get in the way of us getting him in by deadline day.
