I'd rather have nobody than have some shit player we'd have to get rid of next season. This season is already over, with all that's happened. Get rid of the deadwood, finish probably midtable, but gear up for next season, hopefully with Wenger sacked
This.
I would rather we suffer mightily under Wenger and sink to new lower depths than us sticking to mediocrity with mediocre players and overrated players.
No need to keep adding deadwood to what we already have.
At least give the new guy that comes in two years a fresh clean slate.
But you're assuming a new guys is coming in. We don't know that. I just feel like the farther we fall the harder it will be to get a new decent manager and or decent players. Get what we can now to salvage a little bit of something this season. I am not the type of fan to ever want us to suffer or lose. That's mind bogglingly crazy to me.
A new guy has to come in at some point, even Wenger's mortal.
Even if Wenger stays, a lot of this squad needs to just leave.
One can only hope.
If Wenger stays though, then it won't matter much what happens, roll on the same shit.
