Would be two very strange transfers.

Simeone would clash with the pair of them at some point.

Atletico are gonna get linked with every striker and RB this summer cos Juanfran is getting on and so is Torres, plus there's the doubt of Griez staying any longer.

Inter Milan will offer 24-year-old striker Mauro Icardi a new contract with an increased release clause of more than £100m to try to ward off any approaches from Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United. (Premium Sport, via Talksport)

When Alexis eventually leaves we'll be in dire need of a world class wide player - Ícardi can't play out wide.

Don't see the point unless Laca flops.

Ideally, we'd not be in this race as Icardi's a Real Madrid-tier striker.

With him, it's not Mauro we're buying here. It's Wanda Nara. Ha! I'm imagining our incompetent board negotiating with her. The moment, Unai Emery drops Icardi, Wanda will create a shitstorm at Arsenal.

Not worth the baggage. Now if he left Wanda back home and hired a new agent.. :hiding:

Nonetheless, we should go for Dybala, tbh. Juve will listen to offers for him because they want to get a world class striker and another top quality midfielder. Dybala and Ron haven't gelled together and that's resulted in Allegri dropping Dybala in crucial games.

We could possibly offer Ozil to cushion on the blow. Of course, this is all bs as we'd never spend £120m on a player.

As it stands, United might be in for Dybala. City too. I think Real Madrid might as well if Neymar/Mbappe deals don't come to fruition.

Icardi will be the best striker in the world in a couple of years time imo.
