Mauro Icardi

Postby Cripps » Tue Mar 03, 2015 12:40 am

Inter Milan have ruled out selling striker Mauro Icardi, 21, who is attracting interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea. (Daily Star)

Doesn't this guy have a bad boy rep?

Ye, slept with his ex team mate/best friends wife and then married her after the divorce and got their kids names tattooed on himself.

Is John Terry an idol of his perhaps?

Don't want players like that here.

Man like Icardi.

He can stay in Milan though.

:rofll:
Agree. Plz a massive No to Icardi. If a striker is being bought, make it Dybala(1) or Cavani(2)/Lacazette(3).

He's a poacher and that's where it ends, needs a supporting striker alongside him to be at his best.

Still he is a very good player. Reminds a bit of Diegoal Costa in his attitude, but unlike Costa, he has off-pitch problems. We could use a bad boy type striker, but Icardi might be close to Balo level. Too risky.

He can play like Giroud and totally forget about playing striker and instead play as false no9 who is more often found in midfield than in the box. Wenger clearly does not hate such a striker;)

What he offers:
-Excellent movement off the ball
-Often in the right place right time
-Good finisher with right foot and head

What he lacks:
-Proper hold up/link up play
-Invention
-Closing down and other dirty work (very lazy player)
-Individual skill
-Pace
-Physical presence

All in all a very limited player from what i've seen and won't thrive in a system that includes a sole striker.

He's liable to poach someone's wife.

We already have Özil for that. Think we are covered there well. :P

Dybala is much better and without the extra issues.

He has third-part ownership. Icardi is far less troublesome compared to that. We could loose Dybala due to his agents, even if he want to stay :/.

In all seriousness what is wrong with him? Tattooing next man's kids on your body. That is a violation, Lopez should've clattered him.
