Giroud plays with his back to goal, is used for hold up play, is very good in the air but not very mobile and not a great finisher with his feet.
Icardi is a poacher and uses his mobility to score goals. Also much better finisher than Giroud.
Their play styles seem complementary, not similar.

Thats what I thought. Also he's more physical than most poachers and at 5'11 isn't exactly short.

I would be happy to get him he is a lot better than giroud and more mobile, just I prefer someone with very good pace that would take people on someone who is the polar opposite of giroud.

From last night...
He has decent pace as you can see in the video and like I mentioned above he is actually very different player than Giroud.
The reasons I am not a big fan of his is that other than his finishing, he ok at at everything else but not spectacular at anything.
But the biggest reason I would avoid him is that he is completely pussy whipped by his wife/agent who is a greedy manipulative nutcase and will keep the club hostage every off-season, which is why I would be surprised if he comes here. Wenger would not want to deal with that woman.
