According to Bild.de, DU decided to not extend his contract with RB Leipzig. His current deal runs until 2021.

There's no way anyone can make the claim he's got a higher ceiling than Campbell, he was world class, played at the highest level and was one of the best defenders ever, Upemecano is just a young player with potential.

I think we may have missed the boat with this guy, there seems to be far bigger more successful teams who can offer CL football interested in him now.

And the fact Campbell is a old fashioned non nonsense true CB and Upamecano is basically a DM playing in defence with pace and dribbling and passing range and the only thing they have in common is that they are both black :rofll:

Upamecano would be our new Kolo Toure.

Yup, we have Pablo Mari and soon that Saliba bloke will be joining in the summer. Plus Luiz, Mustafi, Papa , Chambers and Holding.

What little money we have will go elsewhere.
