Rugani is a good player, one of the best prospects of Italy, if going to be true it would be a good signing

Juventus have rejected a £13 million bid from Arsenal for defender Daniele Rugani, though the Serie A champions are willing to sell the 20-year-old at the right price. Napoli have also had a loan bid turned down.

We need some italians. Who was the last? Mannone? Though he wasn't very good.

Good prospect better than Chambers who seems like a useless signing if we buy another CB

We don't need another CB so this is a strange one...don't know much abt Rugani, stylistically who is he similar to? how is his passing and is he good on the ball?

Chambers is a fantastic prospect...he'll develop into a very good modern CB who can build from the back...much needed for our style of play.

Arsenal have made the first steps to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Empoli and opportunities at Juve appear to be limited, with Arsene Wenger a big fan of the centre-back.

£13m would be a huge bargain, no way Juventus would accept it. Supremely talented young CB; good reader of the game and very clean tackler - didn't pick up a single yellow card last season IIRC.

Not that this will happen, but if we're really in for him, do you think we'd phase out Kosc a la Vermaelen?

I'd take either him or Romagnoli (even though he just went to AC Milan this summer). Gonna be a stalwart partnership for the Italian defense in the near future.

Think it would rather be Per, but you never know with Koscielny's dodgy achilles. Don't really care to be honest, as long as our defence is a solid unit.

Juventus ready to let Daniele Rugani seal transfer away with Arsenal the favourites to land him – report

Juventus are ready to sell Daniele Rugani in January with Arsenal leading the queue of suitors, according to reports in Italy.

The Serie A giants are considering allowing the 21-year-old to leave the club in the winter as he has struggled for playing time.

And Arsenal are the favourites to land him, according to Calciomercarto.

The Gunners will face stiff competition from Serie A sides Fiorentina and Napoli, with the latter willing to offer £12.9million.

Juventus would also consider loaning him out but they will evaluate all offers in January.
