Arsenal's wish to buy 21 year old confirmed to us twice, offer already made
As you know if you’ve been following us for a while, the aim of this website is to try and clarify transfer rumour stories as best we can.
Obviously, it would be impossible to do so for every story published on the internet, as some aren’t even worth clarifying such is their ridiculousness, but when we feel there’s something in them, we try and get as much information as we can.
Over the past few days, numerous reports have emerged in Italy that Daniele Rugani could be on his way out from Juventus in the near future, whether it be on loan or on a permanent basis.
The Serie A champions have previously stated they are not interested in selling the 21-year-old defender as they see him as a talent for the future, but a loan could be possible. The Italian media this week brought up the idea of Manchester United and Arsenal interest, and even of bids being made.
While we aren’t aware of the details, Sport Witness has been informed that those reports are correct and Arsenal and Manchester United have both made offers for the player recently. It's the second time we've had Arsenal interest backed up, after finding out in September that the London club were interested and Rugani would look positively toward a move there.
The Premier League sides aren’t the only ones, as we’ve been told Inter, Napoli and seven other Italian clubs, as well as unnamed Spanish teams, have all enquired about the young defender’s availability.
While this may not be much, it is, however, confirmation that both Arsenal and Manchester United are after the young centre-back.
Daniele Rugani played every single league game for Empoli last season without getting booked once, the only defender to do so.
Now back at Juventus, the young defender has only been handed two minutes of first-team football this season.

Though highly rated in Italy, Daniele Rugani has struggled for game time at Juventus and could try to force through a move elsewhere in the January window, with Manchester United and Arsenal reportedly interested.
