I never paid alot of attention to him before but have noticed him in all the games he played before today, not just because he has a huge alien forehead but because hes a very tidy defender :)

Its the WC curse, looks great in the WC, price doubles but then in a regular season you could of bought someone as good for less.

Always happens, at a decent price then yes I'd have him, would like to see more of him in the regular season though.

Asamoah Gyan always comes to mind first for me haha, brilliant for Ghana in the world Cup, well below average when he signed for Sunderland after the 2010 World cup

That Dutch defender who played for Aston Villa Also, he looked like the best defender in the world at the last world cup...or might of been the one before, can't remember which one.

Utd went in for him and he signed a new contract at Villa then they got relegated and he vanished forever lol.

Edit: Ron Vlaar!

We'd need to sell a few more than that.

Maybe:

Mustafi
Perez
Campbell

Then again, Jack leaving may have freed up some wages. Our wage situation was a bigger problem than our funds in terms of signings....

Here's hoping

ya I agree harry would be exactly the type of defender we need and we are lacking real British leaders now Harry and Aaron could be future leaders.

I honestly don't think we'll spend the money on him. Leicester don't f**k about with their demands and are prepared to hold a player.

Slab head doesn't seem to be the type to force a transfer and man u will 100% come in with a stupid offer just to spoil the party. I mean ffs they've still got 300m to spend as they've only signed that Fred bloke.

I'm expecting them to go nuts post WC

Yeah, no chance we sign him this summer. He'll go for £40-50m if another club really wants him but I think he'll likely remain at Leicester.

Just look at the prices Van Dijk and Walker went for, guarantee Maguire won't be sold for less than £50m. Defo a Utd type defender. Replacement for Phil Jones?

You lot are funny lol you want us to buy a centre back that played in a back 5 against pub level sides the entire tournament and the best forwards he came up against was Falaco who is 32 and flopped in the BPL and a 32 year Mandzukic who plays as a winger most of the time for his club, had he come up against a side like France, Brazil or a full strength Belgium then you would have seen he's nothing special.
