Pablo Sarabia??

Postby Gooner1992 » Fri Nov 16, 2007 3:36 pm

Manchester United have joined Arsenal in their push to prise 15 year-old Spanish whizkid Pablo Sarabia away from Real Madrid.

Marca says both United and Arsenal have tabled pro contract offers to Sarabia's Dad and also his agent, Gines Carvajal. The Sarabia family are celebrating today after Pablo's first call-up to the Spain U17 squad.

Carvajal, whose clients include several Real senior players, favours Sarabia beginning his professional career in Madrid. However, no definitive decision has been made by the player, with offers from United and Arsenal proving tempting.

ARSENAL have set their sights on signing another Spanish whizkid — with Real Madrid's Pablo Sarabia the latest name on their radar.

The 18-year-old has starred for Castilla, Real's reserve side, this season and made his first team debut against Auxerre in the Champions League in December.

It is understood top Spanish scout Francis Cagigao recommended the midfielder to the Gunners, who left Barcelona fuming last month when they signed teenage prodigy Jon Toral.

Sarabia, who is contracted to Madrid until the summer of 2013, is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Spain.

And although Real have vowed to do all the can to hold on to their starlet, his representative Gines Carvajal confirmed there are a host of admirers interested.

Carvajal said: "Some clubs are looking at Sarabia and Real know this.

"But the kid wants to triumph in Real and I will have a meeting with the club's directors at the end of the season."

Sarabia has scored 11 goals in 39 games for Castilla since 2009.

Just realised you bumped it... You bought it back up thanks to a sun article?

That shit should be banned, IMO...

ETA: However it's also on Sky Sports.

Real Madrid are set to open talks with hot prospect Pablo Sarabia after it emerged Arsenal are tracking him closely.

The left-sided midfielder, who can also operate in the middle, is currently starring for Madrid's second team Castilla.

He has also been handed his Real debut after coming on against Auxerre in the UEFA Champions League earlier this season.

But Real are yet to tie him to a professional deal and, as with many top prospects, they are battling to prevent him from moving abroad.

Goal just get stories from different places and put them up.

Very rarely do they make their own stuff up.

I find it useful cos i dont have to go to each individual website to find an article and can find it on Goal.

Although most of them chat shit but it gives us something to talk about i guess

We're interested along with the two Madrid clubs. Contract expires in 18 months time and only an €18 million buy out clause.
