Arsenal’s hopes of signing France left-back Layvin Kurzawa from Paris St-Germain have been boosted by there being “zero” chance the 27-year-old will sign for Barcelona. (Le10 Sport - in French)

With saka probably not a long term option at lb, tierney lol, we only have kola really. This guys on a free. Our price range.

Saka should be converted to a inverted winger like Pepe and use Martinelli on LW, Kurzawa would be alright as a bench warmer so we can cash in on Kolasinac.

Why cash in on kola?

Tierney is the injury prone one

If we're serious about signing him, then surely one of Tierney or Kola will be sold. We already brought in that pubber from Soton and Saka is our first-choice LB for better or worse.

because hes on champions league wages with 2 years left so we don't want to renew him to more wage or risk him going for free and he is also injury prone, hes not particularly good either, great at times going forward, bad at defending, much like this guy.

like for like replacement, less wages and no fee, so we get a fee the other way round.

i read around january he wants about 60k, kola is on 100k and close to renewal period.

Tierney is done imo. Too injury prone and the injury is probably very serious

Thats crazy, he came in with a hernia problem, then dislocated his shoulder, totally unrelated, if he spends all of next season out with injurys then maybe.

Shades of Matheiu Debuchy. Kept him for too long after his first major injury (which Tierney already had when he signed) and eventually let him go for nothing.

yes its looking bad....he was already injury prone in Scotland. and if its one thing we know is injury prone players and I think the club learned not to rely on them anymore

The Boosh got f***ked by being injured and the emergence of Bellerin, and if Bellerin didn't pop up out of nowhere and give us the best performances he has in his whole Arsenal career....never to be repeated, then Boosh would have been a regular.

True to be fair, the only problem is that Saka does not want to play left back though.

If we waste saka at left back he will be a Chelsea player in 12 months

Its only wasting because he don't like it, hes far more effective for us as a wing back because we play the high line so he gets more space to run.
