Layvin Kurzawa

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

I mean he will fit right in. This is excellent scouting by the team. High Five!

1 week later, out for 2 months followed by repeated injuries and then we'll be wondefing how to get this guy off the books. He isnt even good in attack or defence. Its a no from me.

I think we are just desperate, Tierney has only played what 3 games in the league in a whole season and Kola is constantly hobbling on that leg, we don't have a lot of choice.

We've got nothing to lose by playing Saka at LB when Kola needs rest. Getting back into the top 4 picture is unlikely and Kurzawa isnt really a signing that shows we are building for future. If it was a really good LB, Id understand but this isnt it.

What is happening at our youth level, we seem to have no defensive options at all coming through, must be frustrating being a youth based cb or fb seeing all the midfielders being played before you.
Club needed sorting out when the coach changed seems our youth development develops nothing defensively
About time we had another Adam's or Keown

What about Joel Lopez? I thought he was highly rated?

Not the same injury. Not even the same part of the body.

Tierney is the future.

Only if he stays healthy, which he hasn't proven he can. Which I think was his point.

So Tierney dislocating his shoulder is him not staying fit?

I would be concerned if it was like Wilshere doing ankles nonstop, or Diaby who's muscles did not fit his frame thus kept tearing. Tierney came with a hernia, then did his shoulder in a freakish way.
He/His/Non-Menstruater/Postmenopausal/non-vaginal male. Yup all man!

Just checked his stats. in 10 years he's played over 30 games in just 1 season.

Meh.

Guendouzi at LB would be a better option than this fella.

Kurzawa was highly rated before, haven’t followed him for a while but not a horrible gamble I’d say.

How is it we have been so poor at defending for more than 10 years, yet we can not develop a single defender in that time WTF is the club doing at youth level

Well, we did. Bellerín and to some extent, Clichy. Clichy didn't really develop into a top player and Bellerín is going the Wilshere way with his injuries.

In the last 10 years too, we've also had world class or near world class defenders like Sagna, Monreal, Koscielny, and Mertesacker.

Our issue is we never had a stable, top-quality midfield last decade. Apart from that time when Cazorla and Coquelin played, we've always fielded subpar midfields. It has been a recurring issue for nearly 10 years at Arsenal.

Is that a serious question?

But he was injured often before he came to us apparently.
