Now I'm all for spending some money, but you'd have to be nuts to back this guy and his ideas, he's absolutely clueless, we couldn't afford Aouar in the summer how will we afford him now that's not even considering the Isco signing.

I dont get why we're looking at more old players that will just be a drain on club resources. We should be giving Saka games as the attacking midfielder.

That's old. 3 goals and 2 assists last season. 6 goals and 1 assist the season before. No thanks.

He barely plays so these numbers aren't telling much.

In our current state we need rwo creative midfielders so I'd take him on loan until end of season. This could be our midfield of three until next summer, when we get a young CAM.

Isco/Ceballos - Saka/Smith-Rowe

If he arrives and gets games, what's the expected output and where will he be played?

It's really difficult to tell what to expect. A real positive example would be James Rodriguez' transfer to Everton, but he also could just be playing a similar role as Ceballos is doing for us now or maybe even worse, even if I don't expect him to be that bad. I would take him on loan so that we aren't stuck with him, if he wasn't actually improving us.

I think his role would be #8 in a 4-3-3 / 3-4-3 or a #10 in 4-2-3-1

A loan deal that makes sense is fine. As long as we're not paying them a fee along with his wages. But I would rather we just gave ESR or Saka games as our 10 or 8 in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Even try Willian as the 10 before deciding to piss more money up the wall.

Isco is well past it already, never lived up to the hype and now got fat. No thanks.

PSG are not interested in Aouar, the only issue for them is they’ve got a terrible manager in Tuchel so that might put him off, but then so so we and he’s probably worse so that’s another thing in PSGs favour, plus he’s probably heard of Tuchel, probably wondering who this Arteta guy is.

Besides di Maria and Neymar, PSG don't really have any playmakers. And ADM is turning 33 soon; why woudn't PSG be interested?

They are interested, what I was saying it that playing for Tuchel might put him off as the guy is awful, but so it Arteta of course (worse in fact) so that doesn’t work in our favour either.
